Terms of Use

Last updated: 24 October 2026

By using MapRadius, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

The service

MapRadius is a free web tool for drawing radius circles on a map, listing places inside them and exporting the results. We may change, add or remove features at any time, and we may pause the service for maintenance.

Fair use

You may use MapRadius for personal and commercial work. You agree not to:

  • send automated or bulk requests through the tool, or use it to scrape the map services it connects to;
  • try to disrupt, overload or break the site;
  • use the site for anything unlawful.

Accuracy

Distances are calculated on a sphere of mean Earth radius and stay within 0.5% of the true distance. Place lists, names and outlines come from third-party map data and can be incomplete or out of date. A radius shows straight-line distance, not travel time or legal boundaries.

The tool is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Check results before you rely on them for safety, legal, financial or boundary decisions, and for your Google Business Profile service areas.

Third-party map data

Maps and place data come from Google Maps Platform, OpenStreetMap contributors and Esri. Their terms and licences apply to the data they provide, including the Google Maps Platform Terms of Service. OpenStreetMap data is available under the Open Database License (ODbL). Keep the attribution shown on the map when you share screenshots.

Your exports

CSV, KML and GeoJSON files you export are yours to use. Place names and coordinates inside them remain subject to the licences of their original data sources.

Our content

The MapRadius name, design, text and code belong to MapRadius. You may link to any page and quote short passages with credit.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, MapRadius isn't liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the site or reliance on its results.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continued use of the site means you accept the current terms.
